This is one of the ancient forts (near about twenty-three hundred years old)and one of the historical places to visit in Junagarh. Explore the twenty meters high in some parts of the fort. There are two major attractions such as Cairo and Neelam. The steps and the caves in the fort must be seen.
Located in the Uperkot fort, Navghan Kuwo and Adi-kadi Vav are two wells and they are extremely steep. The wells are dug in the ground by removing souls, stones, etc. and then outer construction is made but these two wells aren’t dug in the ground. They are carved in rocks in the ground which makes them fascinating and one of the top places to visit.
It is an imposing mausoleum in Junagadh and was built between 1851 and 1882. It has an amazing structure (a mix of European, Neo-Gothic and Indo-Islamic styles) that is a height of architectural excellence that makes it stand out from the crowd. It attracts a lot of history enthusiasts.
Located in the middle of the Gir forest, Girnar hills are one of the top spots to visit, located just a little outside the main town. These are a cluster of hills and their existence can be traced back to the Vedas and during the Mohen Jo Daro period.
