Aina Mahal
The Ainamahal/the Hall of Mirrors’ was built in 1761 by the flamboyant Lakhpatiji or RaoLakhpatji, the ruler of the Princely State of Kutch. It is basically designed in the Indo-European style. You can witness the walls of the palace that boasts gold lace and glass decorated on them and this is something spectacular to see. They are made of white marble and covered with mirrors that justify their name. Dotted with vast carved doorways, this mahal also has intricate window boxes and beautiful balconies.
