Somnath Temple


Situated on the antique Triveni Sangam or the meeting point of the three rivers such as Kapila, Hiram, and Saraswati, it is one of the most significant religious spots of Hindu pilgrimage and one of the 12 jyotirlingas of India. Although this temple was looted and destroyed many times by emperors like Muhammad Ghazi, AllauddinKhilji and Aurangzeb, this draws the attention of devotees throughout the year. The most visited Somnath temple has intricately carved. The present form was reconstructed in 1951. Colorful dioramas of the Shiva storyline on the north side of the temple garden that you can see. This temple is painted a creamy color and boasts a little fine sculpture. The huge, black Shiva lingam at its heart is known as jyotirlinga.

Panch Pandav Gufa


This is yet another famous place that was first discovered by the late Baba Narayandas in the year 1949. The best part is that the temple has a cave adored by the five Pandava Brothers. We ensure that you will get mesmerized by its beauty. It is located near Triveni Sangam Ghat and is one of the holy and interesting places to visit in Somnath. It is also known as Hinglaj Mata Mandir. When it comes to the entrance of this cave, it is very narrow and low which is easy for kids to enter. But adults need to bend down and literally crawl down the steps. You can also visit Surya Mandir and Kamnath Mahadev Mandir nearby.

Laxmi Narayan Temple


Located near Gita temple in Gaulok Dham on the bank of the holy river Hiranya, this temple is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu to whom the temple is dedicated. You can witness modern architectural designs. This is widely known for the carving on its 18 pillars which have the sacred message of Krishna in the form of Bhagwadita. Many devote are visited this place.
