Summer- (April-June)-the summer is not hot but this is not a good time. The temperature ranges from25-30?C. But the monsoons bring with it a wet and humid climate that makes this season uncomfortable. It is not the good time to visit although not bad completely.
Monsoon- (July-October)-During this season, the water can go muddy and loses most of its charm for the visitors. So this season may not be the best, but not completely bad for a visit.
Winter- (November- March)-Winter is not as, which makes it one of the best times to explore Dwaki. The transition months of September and October are mainlypleasant. The temperature rangesfrom 20-25?C. Carry enough warm clothes with you. It can be a good time.

Dawki-Umngot River
This river is also known as WahUmngot Riverwhich flows smoothly through the beautiful town of Meghalaya Dawki. It especially flows partly in India and partially in Bangladesh. It is known as the clearest river in India and one of the best places for fishing masters. The crystal clear water in the winter and the boat raceevery summer are amazing.
Shnongpdeng
It is one of the most stunning places to visit in Dawki. It is a real treat to the eyes of all the visitors. There are several hidden gems around like amazing campsites for night camping. Also, the climate is so pleasant to refresh your mood and soul as well as the chilling water of the Umngot River soothes your mind. It can only carry 7-8 people at a time but is very adventurous. Explore activities like boating, swimming, zip lining, camping, fishing, and scuba diving thatcan keep you engaged for days.
Borhill Falls
Situated at a distance of 9km away from Dawki in Meghalaya, it is known as one of the top spots to stopover in Dawki. This picturesque and compelling waterfall is located on the Dawki – Riwai road. The entire area of this waterfall is pleasant and soothing that will chill the visitor’s body with its calm and cool breeze. In addition, the wide woody hills and the site of water falling off to Bangladesh’s Sylhet Border make this place stand out.
India – Bangladesh International Border
Explore the beauty between the two countries that make it one of the renowned Dawki Tourist Places. It marks the end of the Indian subcontinentand the beginning of Bangladesh. Also known as Jaflong Zero Point, it is situated nearly 90km south of Shillong. You will see the army men of both sides keep an eye oncheckpoints but not interfere with your traveling.
